I’ve been way too busy to blog lately. However, there are a couple of updates worth sharing lest I forget!
1. The UK Supreme Court handed own its judgment in that neat habeas case. The judgment is here. A lot of commentary is already up (see, e.g., here and here) so I probably won’t post about the judgment in any depth. Still, it’s worth a read if you’re a habeas fan.
2. The Drew Peterson saga continues. A motion for a new trial based on ineffective assistance has been filed. See here for the details.
